GTA V or Grand Theft Auto 5 is the latest in the line of Grand Theft Auto games. Though it is over six years old, there has not been any other GTA game since. Unlike Halo though, it does not follow one linear story or character. Each game has its own story and characters that it revolves around. For being a game made back in September of 2013, it is still popular to this day due to one reason, Online.
What is GTA V?
GTA V is a game that is an open world-based game where you can do a lot: Drive various vehicles that you own or stole, things like car, boats, helicopters, and planes. You can get various weapons to kill others with like simple pistols to a minigun. There are many things you can do in the game, but it is divided into two main modes.
The Story of GTA V
The first mode is the single player or story mode. In past games the story would revolve around one character but this one focuses on three, Franklin, Michael, and Trevor. It starts with one but as the story progresses you unlock the other two. Once unlocked you can switch between any of them whenever you want unless you are in a mission that only involves you of them. The story is a good experience but while a little entertaining, after you beat it there is not much to do in it. So, we move to the other major part of the game and what has really kept the game alive all these years.
The Fun of Online
GTA Online is the part of the game where you can play online with friends and has a lot more to offer then the story mode. You create your own character and can do many things in this mode that you can’t do in story. Some of the simple things would be buying houses to show off to friends and garages that go with them to house the cars you buy.
Then there are things like buying an office to be a CEO and the various activities you can do with it. If you don’t like the high life, you could also buy a clubhouse and create your own motorcycle gang. From there you can run some very interesting businesses. You could also get both if you want. Getting at least one of these is important for the next parts. By owning these you can register as a CEO or MC President but not both at the same time. Being registered as one is needed to use any of the next things.
You can buy a bunker to make weapons to sell for money, a facility to go on heists with friends to save the world, a hanger to sell various goods that you acquire, a nightclub to be a central hub for your various wares, and a arcade to be a front for the biggest heist to date. All of these things were not in the game from the start but were added as the years went on. That is one of the reasons it is still played as much, because stuff is still being added to this day.
Fun with Friends
The joy of this game are the fun and funny moments that can happen when playing with friends. Cause when you’re not races or doing various missions, you can just have fun and goof off in the big map that is GTA V. People can role play, have car shows, or just have an all-out server war. Some people even have dedicated severs to role play and include mods to make it more immersive. It is a game to have fun in with friends or meet new ones. But do take warning thou, with a game like this, there will always be those people that want to ruin your fun time. That’s why they give you the option to make a private server, but public servers can still be fun too. Not all people on those sessions are people out to kill you for no reason other than they can.
